'People’s Pages,' is a catalogue of objects that represent people and their characteristics. It demonstrates how we see ourselves and the importance of certain qualities. Encouraging people to question the way we perceive ourselves / others. ‘People’s Pages,’ provides an insight into the everyday.
Cataloging Chacteristics
Two hundred people were asked one question, ’If you were an object what would you be?’ Responses hint at how people wished to be perceived, others suggested deeper thoughts and feelings. Some appeared almost temporary, reflecting current stages in people’s lives. Whatever the type of response, each told a story.
Website Design
A webpage, featuring new objects and the stories they tell, works alongside the catalogue, encouraging people to think about what object they would be. In turn recognising the value / importance of their individual traits.
